Description
After all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, come join us for a magical evening immersed in nature:
- Each child will make their own lantern and enjoy creating other crafts with materials from the natural world.
- We will take our lights into the forest to walk in the gathering darkness amongst the winter trees, along the sparkling creek, to discover the Fairy Circle.
- We will listen to a story in the quiet of the night and then emerge from the forest into the starlit pasture.
- We will gather around the bonfire, enjoy special treats, and celebrate the gifts of the winter season and the turning of the Earth back towards the light.
At Dinner Bell Farm, we craft “learning in action” experiences – combining discovery, activities, story, crafts, and celebrations - weaving in the trees, plants, and animals that are our kin. We offer ways of connecting which speak not only to the intellect, but also to the imagination and emotions.
