In this new film, the filmmakers explore the unique but complex historical and present-day history of the two diverse cultures. The documentary features a diverse representation of Afro-Indigenous people, academic scholars, historians, and Indigenous people of tribal communities across the United States, all exploring the question: "what does it mean to be Afro-Indigenous?"
