Description

This live concert at the historic Carolina Theatre in downtown Greensboro features two of Country Music’s greatest up and coming artists!

Matt Stell has quickly made his mark on Country music, amassing over half a BILLION On-Demand streams with back-to-back #1’s: “Prayed For You” and “Everywhere But On”, plus fan favorites “Boyfriend Season” and “That Ain’t Me No More.” This RECORDS Nashville PLATINUM artist is 1 of only 8 new artists to have consecutive #1’s in the past six years. With Billboard touting his “versatile” style, he’s the first-ever artist to receive a virtual plaque from the RIAA for multi-week breakout “Prayed For You” which is 2X PLATINUM, and is an ASCAP Pop and Country most-performed song awards winner. This successful, self-taught vocalist and guitarist from Arkansas officially made the move to Music City in 2014 after turning down Harvard University’s Extension School Pre-Med program.

Show opener George Birge is RECORDS Nashville songwriter-artist who is charging the charts with his Top-50-and climbing, “Mind On You,” off his debut album, George Birge: Mind On You. Bobby Bones called the single one of his “Top 3 Favorite Songs” and proclaimed him a “National Spotlight Artist.” With over 30 MILLION streams across his catalog, he’s been featured by NPR All Things ConsideredPEOPLEAmerican Songwriter, and named one of Nashville Lifestyles’ “Artists You Need To Know.” This Texas native’s star power exploded with a viral breakout single, “Beer Beer, Truck Truck,” and he’s written with the likes of Rascal Flatts’ Gary LeVox, Chris Lane, and Matt Stell.
