Description
On Saturday, June 24th, Pluck Farm will host a Midsummer celebration to welcome the summer and celebrate the brightest day of the year!
🌼 The holiday is a celebration of the summer solstice, marking the longest day of the year and the onset of summer. Midsummer is traditionally celebrated in the Nordic countries and across Europe.
🌺 It’s a day that should be spent with family and friends eating, drinking, and playing games out in the open air. A big part of the day is picking and decorating with flowers and greenery and binding them into flower crowns to be worn for good luck.
🌸 Starting at noon we'll have a make your own flower crown station. Each crown are $5 each and you get to pick out your own flowers grown and plucked on Pluck Farm.
🌼 The flower station will be up all day until supplies last.
🌸 Food Truck: Pork on The Road @porkintheroad 1-8pm
🌼 Lawn games will be available all day long, including Kan Jam, disc golf, Cornhole as well as Kubb, a traditional Swedish lawn game popular during Midsummer celebrations.
🌺 Bring your friends, meet new ones, and join in celebrating the onset of summer!
(and no, it won’t be anything like the movie…)
The event is free and open to all.
