A time to reflect on June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved people received word that their freedom was official and their chains were broken! The last century and a half of progress has ushered in the truth that all people are independent and free. Through struggle and dedication, African Americans celebrate and remember those who have gone before paving the way for a better tomorrow together.
Join us to celebrate with free food, music, games, and more.
