Lessons
Pleasant Hill Farm has a great selection of school horses to ride. Our school horses come in a range of sizes, colors, riding ability, and personalities. Each school horse is different in its own way and each one is ready to teach you something new with each lesson. Lessons last up to two hours.
Lessons are held by appointment for ages 5 and up. Beginner lessons are 30 mins (not 1 hour). Adult lessons are also available. Lessons are planned out to work on the skills needed to maintain a balanced seat for riding, and the horsemanship skills necessary to handle horses safely.
We have a 250-foot by 150-foot covered arena, an indoor riding ring, an outdoor riding ring, and a field with cross-country jumps.
In addition to the riding accommodations, there are two secure tack rooms and a comfortable lounge for relaxing after rides.
