About me
I am Samantha, local mom & Mebanite of almost 9 years. I've have 2 adorable little kids, a sweet black cat, & a yard full of chickens! Living in Mebane means that I am in a great central location to find, enjoy, & share all that our area has to offer from Burlington to Hillsborough and everywhere in between!
Before being a Mompreneur (Momfluencer? ), I was a career researcher at UNC-Chapel Hill for 17 years. I left the bustle of the corporate world to spend more time with my children while they are still young - and now utilize my research skills to find the best events around the area to keep their little brains learning, exploring, & growing! I love serving my community by spreading the word about what local businesses have to offer to local families, and I hope you enjoy this One Stop Shop for all things Family in Alamance & Orange Counties.
I launched Hulafrog-Burlington (including Alamance & N Orange Counties) in early 2022 & grew it fast by finding & sharing all the local family friendly fun! With Certifikid's acquisition of Hulafrog in 2023, I'm bringing all that fun here to Macaroni Kid!
